The Sylvan Realm
Where the first story begins.
A Realm of Living Magic
Beyond the Veil lies the Sylvan Realm, a land where ancient forests stretch beneath silver light, waterfalls descend from hidden heights, and magic moves quietly through root, stone, and leaf.
Here, the old kingdoms still remember their oaths. The forests remember what the people have forgotten. And beneath the beauty of the realm, something long dormant is beginning to stir.
This is where the story begins.
Thalirien
The Heart of the Sylvan Realm
Hidden among ancient forests and cascading waters, Thalirien is one of the oldest cities of the Sylvan Realm.
Its towers rise among the trees, its bridges span living waterways, and its people carry the memory of a world shaped by magic long before the present age.
But beneath the beauty of Thalirien lies a history that reaches deeper than its ancient stones — and a story that is only beginning to awaken.
The Whispering Glade
Where the forest remembers.
Deep within the Sylvan Realm lies a place where the oldest trees gather beneath the moon.
The Whispering Glade remembers what has been forgotten — names, promises, and echoes of things that have not yet come to pass.
Those who enter are often changed by what they hear.
The Mirrorwell
Where memories surface.
Hidden deep within the Whispering Glade, the Mirrorwell is said to show more than your reflection.
Its waters hold the echoes of ancient truth, dreams yet to unfold, and choices that have mot yet been made.
To gaze too long is to risk forgetting who you were... or remembering who you truly are.
The Gladeheart
Where dream and memory echo.
Hidden deep within the roots of the ancient forest lies a sanctuary known only to a few.
The Gladeheart is Thalirien's refuge, a place where the boundaries between worlds grow thin, and the whispers of memory speak the truth.
Here, silver-leaved vines embrace ancient stones, and the heart of the glade holds a pool of crystalline light, swirling with echoes of what was, what is and what may yet be.
It was here that Aerin found answers she did not yet understand, and where the spirit of Thalirien still lingers - where dream and memory echo.
"A hidden stairway descends from the library of Thalirien, where an ancient inscription is carved into the stone:
ONLY THOSE WHO DREAM MAY PASS -
beyond lies the Gladeheart, and beneath it, a vault sealed by moon and time, where the Realm's oldest secrets rest."
The Ruins of Tareth Syl
Where the forest remembers what was lost.
Twilight drapes the ruins in a hush that feels older than the wind.
Once a great sanctuary for those who heard the Glade's call, Tareth Syl now lies broken and half-swallowed by the forest. Fallen pillars carved with forgotten runes stand among shattered stone, while vines wind through the remains like living veins.
Here, Caelan remembers his sister, Elaris—touched by the Veil, as Aerin is, and lost years ago after following a dream of light beneath the earth.
Among the moss, Aerin finds Elaris's broken pendant, still holding the shimmer of moonlight trapped in glass.
The ruins offer no answers. Only a summons.
And beyond them, the forest begins to change—its whispers becoming less warning and more welcome, guiding Aerin and Caelan toward Thalirien.
The Moonlit Library
Where forgotten knowledge waits beneath the silver light.
At the heart of Thalirien lies a library where ancient knowledge is kept beneath crescent arches and crystalline walls, and where the oldest stories still seem to breathe.
Here, Aerin begins to learn that Thalirien was more than the name of the city. She was a moonseer, a scholar, and a keeper of visions and veiled fates—and Aerin may be her Echo, born beneath the same rare lunar convergence.
But the Library keeps secrets of its own.
Behind a moon-etched panel, a hidden archway opens within the bookcase, revealing a narrow stair of stone and light that descends beneath the city.
It leads somewhere few have ever found.
The Gladeheart.
Beyond the Known Paths
The Sylvan Realm is vast, and not all of its secrets have yet revealed themselves.
Some paths disappear beneath the roots.
Some doors open only under certain moons.
And some places have not yet been found.
The Realm is still unfolding.
